How Does a Carb Blocker Work?

Carb blockers work during the digestive process, your body converts carbohydrates into sugar. Your body does this by breaking-down the carbohydrate molecule, found in starchy foods such as potatoes and pasta, with alpha amylase, an enzyme that is produced in the pancreas.

These sugar calories are either burned off, through exercise, or stored as fat carb blockers can be taken with ephedracells for future use. Note that insulin plays an improtant role here. Unfortunately, inactivity means that these stored fat cells accumulate. The result is weight gain.

Carb blockers, especially those with Phase 2®, an exclusive, all-natural nutritional ingredient extracted from white kidney beans, "neutralizes" the digestive enzyme alpha amylase before it can convert starch into glucose and then fat.

Essentially, it allows the carbohydrates to pass through the system with less caloric intake.* The Phase 2® starch blocker has been clinically proven to reduce the absorption of starch by 66%-75% resulting in significantly less net caloric intake.

Carb Blockers Are Very Safe

Carb blockers are 100% natural with no known side effects. There are no known interactions with any other herbal dietary supplement or drug. Carb blockers contain no ephedra or stimulants of any kind and are extremely safe if taken as directed. They can be combined with ephedra products if desired.

If you have a yeast infection, carb blockers will cause you to bloat and should not be taken until you have used natural measures to eliminate the yeast infection. Once your immune system has overcome the yeast infection, then and only then will you be able to lose inches. To find out if you have yeast infection answers these questions:

  1. Have you used antibiotics in the last few years?
  2. Is it impossible to lose weight no matter how little you eat?
  3. Do you crave carbohydrates? (Sweets and starch foods)
  4.  Have you developed allergies along with extra weight?
  5. Do you have chronic sinus problems and infections?
  6. Are you tired all the time?
  7. Do your muscles hurt much of the time?

Weight Loss carb blockersIf you answered yes to four or more of these questions, then most likely you have a yeast infection and you need to boost your immune system and should avoid carb blockers.
